Currently, teaching Digital Photography at the University of Udine (Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici e del Patrimonio Culturale), Digital/Multimedia Storytelling and Media Education program [A.Y. 2022].

I interrogate the narratives that construct reality along the frontiers of the image, with indexing and generative tools. I conduct a research that I develop through 'repetition', 'difference', 'replica', 'persistence' and the 'already-present'. These movements find their origin in training — breathing, long-distance running — a practice that I transfer as methodology into the academic context.

Training and routine: Walking. Resetting the house. Stretching. Bodyweight training. Feeding myself, eating little. Fasting twice a year. Running. Cold exposure. Working on images: from the double-sided to the prompt. Hacking payoffs and common sayings, memorizing them. Reading two books at the same time. Book-crossing. Building portable kits. Collecting any kind of found object.
